Firstly, As a host, it was phenominal experience to be part of Engineering Challenge 2014, which was right blend of learning, networking, fun & challenge. We had vast interest in this event for which we managed to take 90 registrants. This engineering talk is about THE SHARD structure which was the centre of attraction for the event. Award winning engineer 'Roma Agrawal'made an informative presentation about the shard structure.

Secondly, the tower challenge is the right pick for the event after listening to a sky scraper structural engineering talk. The participants were asked to build tallest tower in 20 minutes using masmallows, sphagetti, cello tape & pair of scissors. Participants were given 10 minutes time to plan their structure. Roma gave couple of clues during her presentation!!! to help participants to plan & execute the challenge.

Additionally, to encourage networking & talking to like minded people, we have organised little networking exercise asking participants to form groups who all birthday's fall into particular month. The task was to ask questions to each other inorder to learn atleast one thing about a new person they met on the day!!
Overall, it was enjoyable event which displayed great energy, demonstrated team work, intelligence & fun. There were live tweeters on the event which was exciting.
