Who is this for?
The Careers Fair is of interest to those with core transferable skills considering a change of career; those interested in an apprenticeship within the industry; undergraduates, MSc and PhD students specialising in a wind or marine energy related field and anyone interested working in the renewable energy sector.

Topics within the programme range from; Introduction to Renewable Energy Careers, Managing a Fluctuating Demand for Talent to Building Experience in the Face of Rapid Demand.
Keynote speakers include
Mark Stevenson, Futurologist - an entrepreneur, author, ideas broker and public speaker. Mark is regularly asked to talk to both private and public audiences on matters of future narratives, institutional innovation, complexity, belief systems and learning. Mark has a fascinating approach to the renewables arena.
Martin Hottass, Manager, Skills & Learning Governance, Siemens – who is responsible for the skills agenda at Siemens in the UK and Business Learning in North West Europe. Martin has been responsible for Siemens plc’s Apprenticeship Programme in the UK since Siemens plc. became a national training contract holder in 2008.
Nick Chivers, Director and Global Product Line Manager, TUV SUD PMSS - has built and led an established QHSE team of industry renowned specialists. Nick has a breadth of experience across a range of project developers, utilities, contractors, technology manufacturers and blue-chip organisations. His experience includes onshore, offshore wind, wave and tidal energy and general construction.
