2015 Cheltenham Science Festival

The IET Gloucestershire Local Network will be exhibiting at the Cheltenham Science Festival, Tuesday2nd – Sunday 7th June 2015, with hands-on activities designed to get the next generation interested in engineering.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help run the hands-on activities during the festival, and the time commitment can be as little as half a day. No previous experience is required, just energy and an interest in young people.

f you are interested in helping on the IET’s stand at the Cheltenham Science Festival please contact Jez Paulson at jez.paulson@theiet.org for further information.

Ideally we'd like to have 5 volunteers on the stand each day, so that we can all swap roles, have a look around the fair and generally have the occasional breather. As an added bonus, exhibitors are able to watch shows for free if they're not sold out.

Many thanks
The IET Education Team

Are you looking for help with the IET stand for next June? I enjoyed helping out last year and am happy to do a couple of days this year. I know how busy it can be and that there seems to be a never ending supply of children!
