Comment from the SYN Community Administrator December 2014

Compliments of the season to all our existing members and those who have recently joined the South Yorkshire Network Community.
All community members are welcome to use the facility for posting comments, ideas & suggestions, and may also join other IET Communities in which they may have an interest.

Charles Maltby (committee member) will be assuming the role of Vice Chair ofThe SYN main committee from January 2015.

Please Note
The venue for the "How to Build a Nuclear Power Station" lecture is stated as The Council Room, Firth Court in the current YHRN Newsletter. This has had to be changed and will now be held in Lecture Theatre 1, Sir Frederick Mappin Building, Mappin Street, Sheffield S1 3JD - all other details remain the same as advertised.

Dear Members,
We are looking for new YP members to join this section of the SYLN. We would like to hear from members who are already in industry, university students and students from FE colleges within the SY area. Please send any request for consideration to Brian Heathcote or myself ideally by the end of November 2014. After follow up consultations and informal interviews we hope to establish the YP committee sometime in early January 2015.
