Welcome to the IET Southern California Online Community
The Southern California Network of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET SoCal Network) volunteer committee organizes an annual program of 10 or so technical lectures, meetings, tours, and events that are open to IET members and non-members alike, usually for free or at nominal cost.
Our online community respects Metcalfe's law which states that the value of a network is proportional to the square of the number of connected users of the system (n^2); so please jump right in, complete your profile, add a profile picture. participate in our events, and contribute your gifts, ideas and knowledge to the community.

The Air Force Test Center (AFTC) is a development and test organization of the United States Air Force. It conducts research, development, test, and evaluation of aerospace systems from concept to deployment. It has test flown every aircraft in the Air Force's inventory since World War II. The Network organises technical lectures, visits and other events in and around Southern California, with most of our members living in Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange Counties. All are welcome to attend events, including non-IET members, as well as friends and family. We also aim to provide opportunities for the sharing and exchange of information.
