The Early Career Forum in Energy at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, on Saturday 28 Sept 13 was a great success. Congratulations to Macauley
for winning the Regonal PATW in Toronto on 10 August.
She will represent the IET Americas Region at the Global Final in London on 20 November. Ms Kenney accepted the prize from IET Chief Executive and Secretary Nigel Fine and IET Americas Young Professional Regional Committee chair Alyssa Randall.
Macauley received her BS in biomedical engineering with a minor in law and technology in 2013 from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Her presentation was entitled "Titanium Nanowire Scaffolds: A new structure for biological implants". She competed against eight other students and young professionals from Canada and the US.
