IET Connect, the IET Benevolent Fund, offers information, advice, and financial support to IET members, former members, and dependants in times of need.
We offer referral to a free legal helpline for personal, family, employment and other concerns, support and guidance for people affected by redundancy and funding towards the costs of caring, disability and a wide range of other needs.
We currently have a vacancy for a new Local Representative in your Local Network. If you are interested in helping others through personal contact and home visits then this rewarding role could be just for you. Good interpersonal skills, impartiality and a listening ear are essential. Initial and on-going training, guidance and support are provided from our central office.
