The Humber Region Annual Dinner Dance was held on Friday 23 November at the Forest Pines Hotel, near Scunthorpe. A very popular social event which has been running for many decades - this year over 150 people attended with many members, their partners and guests. The Humber network was officially formed in March 2006 to serve IET members on both the north and south banks of the River Humber. The area has a very strong metals, petro-chemical and food production background and continues to be a key area of industrial growth within the UK. There are currently approximately 1200 IET members in the Humber region.
