Step Up!

Step up – your local engineering community needs you!

Hopefully over the years you will have been to some IET events in your local area. These events are only possible due to the hard work of dedicated volunteers – but now they need your help. Will you step up?

Hi Manchester Network. I wanted to get the date for the Manchester Turing Lecture in your diary for 2015. Frankly this year we were a bit disappointed with the turnout for IBM's Bernie Meyerson in manchester. Traditionally the Turing Manchester has been a brilliant night and a brilliant turn out and we want to make sure 2015 is the same, and for that we need your help. So please put Wednesday 25 February 2015 firmly in your diary for Bob Pepper, Vice President for Global Technology Policy at Cisco. Tell your colleagues, peers and especially we want to see the University students coming out. Registration links will be up in due course on but until then stick it in your diary and tell people all about it. If you can help locally promote the lecture let us know too.

Thanks for listening.
